This is not a Air Asia's slogan, "Now Everyone Can Fly". Do you know that before you can fly, you have to travel to the airport? The cost of this "pre-flight" transportation is range from RM7.40 to RM35.00 (KL-KLIA)!

This "Smart-Way" to travel is catered for the individual travel plan (or maybe 2).

Drive
If you or somebody is driving you to airpot, it will cost about RM7.40 (1 way) for the toll fee excluding the petrol expenses. Petrol consumption is vary depending on the type vehicle and also the petrol price at that moment. The estimated cost per way is around RM18.00/way.

ERL - "Traditional Way"
The most convenient way for city people would depart from Sentral station to KLIA. 1 time cost RM35.00/way

ERL - "Smarter Way" BUT may sacrify some time.
Do you know that you can travel from KL Sentral to KLIA for as low as RM12.50/way?

• Sentral Station(1) --> Bdr. Tasik Selatan(2) --> RM4.20


• Sentral Station(1) --> Bdr. Tasik Selatan(2) --> RM 4.20


• Sentral Station(1) --> Putrajaya(3) --> RM 9.50


• Sentral Station(1) --> Salak Tinggi(! 4) --> RM 12.50


• Sentral Station(1) --> KLIA(5) --> RM 35.00


• Bdr. Tasik Selatan --> Putrajaya --> RM5.30


• Putrajaya - -> KLIA --> RM6.20

Smart ways

• 1. Either take the ERL to Putrajaya for RM9.50. Get down and
  buy another ticket from Putrajaya to KLIA for RM6.20. Total cost works
  out to RM15.70 instead of RM35.00. The inconvenience is having to wait for the next train for about 15 mins(peak) or 20 mins(non-peak). But the substantial saving of RM19.30 per person may be worthwhile.



• 2. Take the Komuter to Bdr. Tasik Selatan for only RM1.00. From here take the ERL to Putrajaya for RM5.30. Get down and buy another
  ERL ticket to KLIA for RM6.20. The total costs add up to only RM12.50 instead of RM35.00. This option is cheaper by RM3.20 but the additional hassle may not be worth the additional saving.

It's like flying!

This picture was taken after a dive trip at Tioman island. While awaiting others to get up to the boat, we jumped into the ocean and FLY. It was somewhere in the month of March, that's why visibility is quite low (ending of monsoon period), but you still see underwater male mermaids!!!
